The President of the Association of African Private Universities (AAPU), Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo on Tuesday paid a working visit to the Greenfield University in Kaduna.

Prof. Gwarzo was received on arrival by the top management staff of the University including its founder and Pro-Chancellor,
Engr./ Chief Simon Ifediora Nwakacha and Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Simon Daniel Katung.

During the visit, the AAPU President was conducted round some places in the university including laboratories, computer lab, sports centre, library and students hostels among other places.

In his remark, prof. Gwarzo who is also the founder of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria and Niger- Maradi as well as Franco-British International University, Kaduna and Canadian University of Nigeria, Abuja, commended the founder of Greenfield University for providing state of the art facilities in the institution.

He also expressed happiness on the physical development witnessed by the university at its present location despite the challenges faced at the permanent site.

The AAPU President also commended the management of the university for giving admission to students from across the 36 states of the federation.

Responding, the Founder and Pro-Chancellor of the university, Engr./ Chief Simon Ifediora Nwakacha appreciated the AAPU President for finding time to visit the university despite his tight schedules.

Other management staff of the university that received the AAPU President during the visit were .Mrs Joy Nwakacha, wife of the pro-chancellor/member, BOT, Dr. Valentine Nwakacha, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology/member BOT and Malam Sadiq Nuhu, Coordinator, IJMB.

The rest were Mr. Lucky Endas, HOD, Chemical Science|Coordinator, SIWES, Mr. David Samuel, Student Affairs Officer, Mr. Israel Ikediashi, Chief Security Officer, Mr. Dominic Abiodun, Admin Officer and Mr. Sunday Adah Okoh, Senior Admin Officer, British Hospital, Kaduna.
