What is the Association of African Private Universities (AAPU)?
The AAPU is an international forum for African Private Universities, headquartered in Kano, Nigeria. Founded in 2018, our aim is to provide a strong platform for partnership and collaboration among member institutions. Our work includes promoting academic collaboration for research, facilitating staff and student exchange, and addressing challenges that impede the growth of African Private Institutions.
How can my institution become a member of AAPU?
Any African Private Institution desiring membership should submit an online application for membership to the Secretary General office. The application will be reviewed to ensure the applicant meets the requirements set in the AAPU Constitution.
What does the membership process involve?
The membership process involves three main steps: Accreditation, Authentication, and Verification. Each step is designed to ensure that member institutions meet our standards for quality and commitment to improving higher education in Africa.
